Manyeleti, which means ‘place of the stars’, is a 23 000 hectare reserve between the Timbavati and Sabi Sands Game Reserve, bordering on the Kruger National Park. It is regarded as one of only few ‘secret places’ left in and around the Kruger.

Manyeleti Game Reserve is situated in the wildlife rich region of the Limpopo Province Lowveld which forms part of the world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park and hosts a similar variety of wildlife, including the ‘Big five’. The birdlife is also prolific, with over 300 recorded species.

The reserve is situated away from the mainstream tourist areas and one may still experience the tranquillity of the African bush in total seclusion. The name ‘Manyeleti’, in the local Shangaan language means ‘Place of the Stars’ and guests may spend a memorable moment watching a magnificent Southern Constellation, with the pride of place taken up by the Southern Cross.

Situated in the Manyeleti Game Reserve in Mpumalanga, Manyeleti Main Lodge offers an authentic bush experience with Big 5 animal sightings and a tranquil environment in which to totally unwind.There is an observation deck, where you can, in the day, spot a host of wildlife and birdlife at the waterhole.
